Scope and Boundaries

Our report follows an annual cycle from the period 1 January to 31 December. It covers the performance and management approach of Metrobank in terms of economic, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues. We have also included the contributions of Metrobank Foundation, Inc., our corporate responsibility arm, as well as the Purple Hearts Club, our employee volunteerism group, and the contributions of our subsidiaries.

Reporting Guidelines

Our report follows the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards and focuses on material topics for the bank. You can read our GRI Content Index in the full report

We also follow the disclosure guidance from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
