Pay your taxes online via BIR eFPS and Metrobank Online

Paying your taxes just got easier. Skip the lines and settle your BIR tax payment online via BIR eFPS and Metrobank Online. Here’s how to pay BIR tax online:

1. Go to the Bureau of Internal Revenue’s Electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS) at (https://efps.bir.gov.ph/). Sign up or log in with your details.
   

   
   
   

2. Enter the required details on the online tax payment page, then select “015000 – MBTC (HEAD OFFICE)” under the Transacting Bank (Authorized Agent Bank) field.
   

   
   
   

3. Click Continue when prompted to be redirected to Metrobank Online.
   

   
   
   

4. Next, enter your Metrobank Online username and password.
   

   
   
   

5. After logging in, review the complete details of your BIR tax online payment. Select your Source Account and click Next.
   

   
   
   

6. Confirm your tax payment details, then click Continue.
   

   
   
   

7. Authenticate your transaction via AppKey.
   

   • For non-AppKey users:
     • Enter your Passcode for transactions below PHP 500,000.
     • Enter your Passcode and SMS OTP for transactions above PHP 500,000.
   
   
   

8. Once authentication is successful, you will see a transaction acknowledgment.

   All transmissions of data done through Metrobank Online are encrypted and secured.

   You will receive an SMS and email notification showing that your BIR tax payment transaction is successful.

4. How does Metrobank Online tax payment benefit me as a taxpayer?

   You are not required to visit the bank to pay BIR tax. Tax payments can be made online at your convenience.

5. Can I view my BIR tax payment transaction history?

   Yes, BIR tax payment information is available online. You can view your past tax payment transactions, including those made immediately and those scheduled for future dates, for the past 30 days.

   By clicking on the Transaction Reference Number, you can view the details of the BIR Tax Payment transaction.
