Update on the Late Payment Fee for Metrobank credit cards
What's changing?
The Late Payment Fee will be PHP 1,500 for Peso credit cards or USD 25* for Dollar credit card, or the unpaid MAD, whichever is lower.
*Applies to Metrobank Dollar Mastercard only
When is a Late Payment Fee charged?
A Late Payment Fee applies if you don’t pay at least the Minimum Amount Due (MAD) shown on your Statement of Account on or before your payment due date.
Paying the MAD keeps your account current and avoids the Late Payment Fee, but finance charges will still apply. To avoid both, pay your Total Amount Due in full by the due date.
