Promo Mechanics

The Wealth Manager Discounted Brokerage Fee Promo (“promo”) will run from December 12, 2024 to December 31, 2025 (“promo period”).

The promo is open to clients who will receive official promo notification from Metrobank via SMS, Viber, and/or email.

Eligible clients must log in to Wealth Manager, go to Fixed Income, and submit a buy or sell order for any Philippine peso-denominated Government Security.

If an eligible client is not yet enrolled in Wealth Manager, s/he must sign up by following the steps below:
a) Log in to Metrobank Online.
b) Go to the “Wealth Manager” section.
c) Click “Enroll Now”.
d) Enter Investment ID and review the terms.
e) Confirm with your 6-digit passcode. -
Clients will be eligible for a discounted brokerage fee of 0.050% for every successful buy or sell transaction placed exclusively through Wealth Manager within the promo period.

The discounted brokerage fees as referenced below will be automatically applied upon placing the buy or sell order in Wealth Manager.

The offer is valid for every successful buy and/or sell orders placed through the Wealth Manager platform only.

Orders placed through Wealth Manager are subject to a minimum face amount of PHP 100,000.

Orders made over-the-counter and coursed through the Investment Specialists are excluded from the offer.

Orders placed through the Investment Specialists will be subject to the standard minimum of PHP 500,000 with regular brokerage fees.

Only primary account holders will be able to place orders through Wealth Manager and will be eligible for the discounted fees.

Eligible clients with buy orders for government securities with remaining tenor of more than 7 years must have an updated and valid risk profile on record.

Eligible clients must have a linked account sponsored by the Bureau of Treasury National Registry of Scripless Securities (BTr NRoSS).

Eligible clients must have an existing Metrobank Peso Savings or Checking Account designated as a Treasury Settlement Account (TSA).

Clients must ensure that their TSA is funded on or before the indicated Settlement Date. Otherwise, the order will be considered as “unsuccessful.” Clients will receive status updates of their orders via email and may also track them via My Orders page in Wealth Manager.

The value of the brokerage fees discount is non-transferable and non-convertible to cash, credit, benefit, advantage, or any property.

All questions or disputes regarding customer eligibility for the promo will be resolved by Metrobank at its discretion. Metrobank’s final decision will prevail.
