• To qualify the cardholder must bring their old usable and in-working condition luggage (4-wheel or 2-wheel) and exchange it for special discounts on the featured products (luggage).

• NO Trade-In Item, NO Discount.

• All traded-in luggage will be subject to inspection. The Travel Club reserves the right to determine the final condition of the traded-in items, and decision whether items are considered functional and suitable for donation.

General terms and conditions:

• Promo is valid for in-store transactions only.

• Metrobank cardholders must trade in any luggage/bag and charge the total amount to their qualified Metrobank Card through The Travel Club’s Metrobank Point-Of-Sale Terminal.

• Splitting of transactions is not allowed. Splitting of transactions is defined as an intentional act of dividing a merchant transaction into multiple charge slips to redeem more than one reward incentive. A presumption of splitting of transactions arises when there are two (2) or more transactions in one merchant outlet or establishment over one and the same product, and the interval of these transactions were made within 5-10 minutes.

0% Installment and Shop Now, Pay Later:

• 0% installment is available up to 12-month installment terms with minimum purchase applicable per term. Shop Now, Pay Later is available up to 90 days after only. Other installment tenors are not included in the promo.

• All 0% Shop Now Pay Later transactions will be billed to the cardholders account starting the third (3rd) statement cycle based on the original Shop Now Pay Later transaction date and every month thereafter until the total amount payable is paid in full.
  To further illustrate:
  * If purchase is made before cut-off date, billing will be deferred for 2 months.
  * If purchase is made after cut-off date, billing will be deferred for 3 months.

• Full installment amount purchased under the Metrobank 0% installment and Shop Now, Pay Later program shall be deducted from the cardholder’s available credit limit.

• All installment purchases are subject to the Metrobank Credit Card Terms and Conditions and all related provisions of Metrobank credit card’s 0% and Shop Now, Pay Later installment program.

• All 0% instalment and Shop Now, Pay Later purchase/s are subject to Metrobank’s approval and only valid only if monthly dues are paid in full.

Cashback:

• The top-up cashback is exclusive to Metrobank ICON, World Mastercard, Travel Signature Visa, and Travel Platinum Visa cardholders who meet all spend requirements, limited to one (1) cashback, per card, per day.

• The cashback will not apply to declined payments or transactions made using alternative payment methods.

• The cashback will be credited to the principal cardholder’s account within 60 calendar days after the end of the promo period with the description “The Travel Club Cashback 2026”.

• The promo and cashback entitlement are based on a customer level. Multiple Metrobank credit cards under the same customer number will be considered as one unique cardholder. Qualified and transactions made by supplementary cardholder/s and/or other Metrobank credit card/s (if any) which share the same customer number will be combined in the number of entitled cashback.

• A cardholder will be disqualified from the promo and forfeits their right to the promo rewards if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated before the release of the cashback. Any question or dispute related to cardholder’s availment of the promo shall not be a valid reason for non-payment of cardholder’s credit card bill or outstanding balance. Metrobank will not be liable for any accrued charges to cardholder’s account.

The promo is non-transferable, non-cumulative, cannot be exchanged for cash or other products.

The promo is not valid in conjunction with other promos of Metrobank and The Travel Club.

In the purchase of goods and services in connection with this promo, senior citizens or persons with disability (PWD) can either avail of the promo or the discount provided under the Expanded Senior Citizens Act 2010 or Magna Carta for Persons with Disability, whichever is higher, if applicable.

The use of the Metrobank Credit Card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank Credit Cards. In such a dispute, The Travel Club shall have no liability.

Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction subsequently cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should a cardholder receive the discount/cashback, but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from, but not limited to, erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the discount/cashback shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.

Any amendment in the terms and conditions is subject to DTI approval.

The terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank Credit Cards, reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable in this promo.

Any dispute concerning the products or services, including pricing, related to the promo shall be settled directly between the cardholder and The Travel Club, with the concurrence of the DTI. Metrobank shall be free from any liability in the event of such dispute.

In case of dispute in respect of Metrobank only and the cardholder’s availment of the promo, the decision of Metrobank, with the concurrence of the DTI, shall be considered final.

By joining or availing of this promo, the cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood and agreed to the promo mechanics and its terms & conditions.
