Promo Mechanics

  1. The program is open to select Metrobank customers with an active deposit or credit card account who will receive communications inviting them to participate in the promo. Only non-digital users of Metrobank Digital Channels will be invited. Customers who will not receive the communications will not be part of the promo.

  2. Promo period is from June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027

  3. Qualified customers who receive the invitation and subsequently sign up for the new Metrobank App within 30 calendar days after receipt of invitation will receive a:

    • Customers with deposit accounts - PHP 100 voucher via Giftaway

    • Customers with credit cards - PHP 100 cashback to their credit card account

  4. Customers are given 30 calendar days from receipt of the invitation to sign up for the new Metrobank App. For example, if a customer is invited on July 15, he/she will have until August 15 to sign up for the new Metrobank App.

  5. This offer is valid for pre-identified customers and accounts only.

  6. The promo and voucher/cashback entitlement are based on a customer level. Multiple Metrobank deposit accounts or credit card accounts under the same name will be considered as one unique customer.

  7. A customer is entitled to a maximum of one (1) voucher or cashback per customer for the duration of the promo period.

  8. The PHP 100 cashback or voucher will be given to the qualified customers by the third week of the following month after signing up for the new Metrobank App. It will be credited to their identified credit card account or sent to customer’s contact details in the bank database. For example. a customer who signs up for the new Metrobank App on August 10 will receive the cashback on the third week of September.

  9. Cashback/voucher is non-transferrable and can only be used by the intended user.

  10. The promo is subject to the terms and conditions of Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company (Metrobank).

  11. The use of the Metrobank App in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of the Metrobank E-channels.

  12. The promo is non-transferable, non-cumulative, cannot be exchanged for cash or other products.

  13. The promo is not valid in conjunction with other cashback promos of Metrobank.

  14. To qualify for the cashback promo, account holder must have an active account and have no outstanding past due. Otherwise, rewards earned under this promo will be forfeited.

  15. The use of the Metrobank cards in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards. In such a dispute, Giftaway shall have no liability.

  16. Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction subsequently cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should a cardholder receive the cashback, but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from, but not limited to, erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the cashback shall be charged by Metrobank to the customer’s CASA.

  17. Any amendment in the terms and conditions is subject to DTI approval.

  18. The terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank cards, reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable in this promo.

  19. Any dispute concerning the products or services, including pricing, related to the promo shall be settled directly between the accountholder and Giftaway, with the concurrence of the DTI. Metrobank shall be free from any liability in the event of such dispute.

  20. In case of dispute in respect of Metrobank only and the account holder’s availment of the promo, the decision of Metrobank, with the concurrence of the DTI, shall be considered final.

  21. By joining or availing of this promo, the account holder confirms that he/she has read, understood and agreed to the promo mechanics and its terms & conditions.
