The promo is not applicable to Metrobank Dollar Mastercard, Corporate Mastercard, Dealer Financing, Metrobank Debit and Prepaid.
The promo period is until January 15, 2024.
For any 0% installment or Shop Now, Pay Later transaction using your Metrobank credit card:
Get PHP 500 worth of universal eGCs or GCash credits for a minimum single-receipt of PHP 15,000 (all tenors).
Get PHP 1,000 worth of universal eGCs or GCash credits for a minimum single-receipt of PHP 40,000 (12 months and up only).
Get PHP 4,000 worth of universal eGCs or GCash credits for a minimum single-receipt of PHP 90,000 (24 months and up only).

To qualify, the principal cardholder must register to the promo and ensure that his/her mobile number is updated in the Metrobank credit card database. Registering a different mobile number will result in nonqualification of transactions. For principal cardholders with multiple mobile numbers, Metrobank shall recognize the first mobile number registered to the primary cardholder’s account found in Metrobank’s database.
Should there be any changes in the contact details within the promo period, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to update his/her contact information in Metrobank credit card’s database by calling the Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700. The updated mobile number must be registered to the promo before the qualified transaction.
Cardholder can register to the promo by visiting the registration page found in the Metrobank website, until January 15, 2024. The cardholder will also receive an SMS or Viber message containing instructions on how to register. An SMS will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile number upon successful registration. Only transaction/s made after the successful date of registration will be included in the promo.
Note: The registration process will only ask for cardholder’s mobile number and verification code sent to the registered mobile number. Metrobank and Giftaway will never ask for the card number, expiry date, CVV, OTP via links in e-mail, SMS or phone calls.
Supplementary cardholders are automatically registered once the principal cardholder has successfully registered for the promo. Transaction/s made by the supplementary cardholder/s will be included in the primary cardholder’s transaction/s.
By completing the registration, cardholder agrees that his/her personal information shall be subject to confidentiality, data privacy and other terms and conditions of Metrobank’s service provider, Giftaway.

A visual transaction/s and incentive/s tracker where all qualified and posted transactions/s and eGC/s may be accessed at metrobankcard.mymcc.gift or mbcpc.co/redeem. Only the principal cardholder can access the tracker, which will be updated within five (5) banking days after the transaction has been made.
Only 1 token will be provided per qualified transaction, subject to the capping on redemptions.
The rewarding of token codes is capped at a maximum of six (6) times only per cardholder within the promo period:
0% installment and Shop Now, Pay Later transactions – capped at 3x only per cardholder.
Merchant installment transactions with interest – capped at 3x only per cardholder.
Token code will be posted on the visual tracker within five (5) banking days once he or she reaches the minimum spend requirement. Token codes will no longer be sent via SMS in compliance with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
Successfully registered principal cardholders will also receive instructions to visit the Metrobank website to redeem codes once he/she has reached the qualified spend. Redeeming of codes must be done until March 15, 2024.
All unredeemed codes will be forfeited after the expiration date indicated in the Giftaway website and visual tracker. Metrobank will not accommodate any request of cardholder to extend the validity of the token code and code once the redemption period has passed.
Cardholders can redeem the Giftaway Universal eGCs or GCash Credits five (5) days after their qualified spend at Giftaway partners such as, but not limited to, The SM Store, Robinsons, Puregold, Shopee, Grab, Lazada, and more. Applicable delivery and other processing / service fees from the stores where the eGC/s will be used are not included in the eGC and shall be shouldered by the cardholder. The Terms and Conditions relating to the use of the Giftaway Universal eGC indicated in the Giftaway platform shall apply. Any dispute related to the use of the Universal Giftaway eGC shall be coursed through the chosen merchant.
A P15 transfer fee for e-wallet redemption shall apply on a per redemption basis. Transfer fees are to be shouldered by the recipient e-wallet account.
The Giftaway Universal eGC is transferrable to cardholder’s nominated recipient by clicking on the Share This button. Once clicked, cardholder acknowledges and gives consent that he/she will share the incentive to his/her nominated recipient. Validity of the original token code shall apply. Once the redemption or transfer has been made, Metrobank and Giftaway will not be liable to incorrect entry of mobile number where the incentive was shared. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to double-check the entry upon redemption of the incentive.
The redemption period is is until March 15, 2024. All redemption requests made after the redemption period will not be accommodated. All unredeemed token code/s will be forfeited after the expiration date indicated in the SMS and tracker website.
Metrobank will not accommodate cardholder requests to re-upload tokens or eGC code/s in a different mobile number, due to but not limited to lost, stolen, or efective mobile number.
“Valid spending” includes 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24, and 36 months of 0% installment or Shop Now, Pay Later transactions such as, but not limited to, installment purchases of appliances, gadgets, department stores, jewelry, furniture, home improvements, and more. Also applicable for merchant installment transactions with interest.
Other transactions such as PayNow, Bills2Pay, Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion, Cash2Go, Cash Advance, mobile payment / mobile wallet transactions, online payment system and transactions with merchant category code of 6540 (such as but not limited to Lazada Top Up, PayMaya Add Money, Shopee Pay, GrabPay) found in Metrobank’s database are excluded from this promo.
The incentive cost is valid in conjunction with other merchant installment promotions open to all cardholders, unless otherwise stated.
Metrobank will not oblige to Cardholder’s request to be rewarded for transactions made without registration due to lack of awareness.
Metrobank will not oblige to the cardholder’s request of extending the redemption and validity period of the token after March 15, 2024. All questions and issues will only be accepted within the redemption period or not later than March 15, 2024, after which, Metrobank will no longer entertain disputes and / or requests.
A cardholder will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated.
Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should the cardholder receive the incentive but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the incentive shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.
All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility to this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI.
Full installment amount under Metrobank’s 0% installment program shall be deducted from the cardholder’s available credit limit.
All 0% installment purchase/s are subject to Metrobank’s approval and only valid if monthly dues are paid in full.
All installment purchases and the use of Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards and all related provisions of Metrobank’s 0% installment program.
The terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards, reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable in this promo.
