Promo Mechanics

  1. The Buy Load! Win Load! (“Promo”) shall run from May 24 to August 24, 2024 (“Promo Period” or “Card Application Period) only with a total for 3 winners, to be drawn every end of the month.

  2. The Promo is open to the total active consumer base of Metrobank (Checking/Savings Account and/or Credit Card Account).

  3. The customer must conduct the Buy Load/Send Load service through the app within the promo period.

  4. Customer is eligible for 1 entry for every PHP100 load amount to be accumulated at the end of the month.

  5. Only transactions that are made through the new Metrobank App would qualify for the raffle. Buy Load/Send Load transactions through other digital platforms (e.g. Metrobank Online) would not merit the raffle promo.

  6. Raffle entries for each customer shall be encoded in an Excel file, and would be assigned a specific no. for each entry. Chronological order of entries shall be based on the pulled data provided by Metrobank’s Decision Management group.

  7. The total no. of entries would be inputted in a random number generator website (random.org) to determine the winner for the month. Raffle draw requires a DTI representative to witness the draw, and shall be concluded within 1 week after the end of the promo.

  8. Disbursement to the account no. of the winner shall be sent within 1 week after the draw, and shall be provided an EDM, SMS, and Viber notification informing them of their winnings. Prize to be provided should be 1 year worth of load (PHP9,600) to be deposited to their registered Metrobank account no., to avoid issues/errors in the disbursement.

  9. In case of dispute on customer’s eligibility, Metrobank’s decision shall prevail. All questions or disputes regarding the customer eligibility for the Promo or for any redemption shall be resolved by Metrobank at its discretion.

Definition of Terms

  • “Buy Load” or “Send Load” refers to the transaction that allows customers to purchase load
  • “Raffle” refers to the promotion that customers are entitled to join once they purchase load through the Metrobank Online App
  • “Php 100 load” refers to the minimum amount required for a customer to gain 1 entry to the promo. This will be accumulated, and rounded up at the end of the month.
  • “Promo period” is the entire promotional period, with draws occurring every end of the month. For this Promo, it is May 24 to August 24, 2024, with monthly draws for the month of June, July, August.
  • “Decision Management Group” refers to the group within Metrobank that transmits data regarding customer transactions, in order to determine the qualified customers of the promo.
  • “random.org” refers to the website that provides the ability to randomly select the winners from the total promo participants.
  • “Metrobank Online” refers to the web-based platform of Metrobank’s consumer business which allows customers to perform numerous transactions
  • “Active account” refers to customers that have transacted atleast once within a year
  • “Entity” refers to a company or an establishment
  • “One year worth of load” refers to the average amount of promo load for a year for all telecommunications provider (computed as Php 400 per month, and PHP9,600 in total for the year)
