The Promotion is not applicable to Metrobank Dollar Mastercard, ON Internet Mastercard, Metrobank PRIME, Elite, Premier + Debit, Prepaid cards.

Cashback crediting is limited to 1x per customer only. In case of multiple purchases, the amount of the first transaction according to date will be followed.

The cashback earned from the qualified 0% installment or Shop Now, Pay Later transaction will be automatically credited to the cardholder’s account within 30 business days from the end of the promo period with transaction description OCTAGON PROMO CASHBACK.

Promo is valid only for 0% installment for 12 - 24 months transactions. Straight transactions and other installment terms are excluded from the promo.

The promo is non-transferable, non-cumulative, cannot be exchanged for cash or other products.

Splitting of transaction for the purpose of availing multiple cashbacks is prohibited. Splitting of transaction is defined as an intentional act of dividing a merchant transaction into multiple charge slips to redeem more than one reward incentive. A presumption of splitting of transaction arises when there are 2 or more transactions in one merchant outlet or establishment, and the interval of these transactions were made within 5-10 minutes.

Cashback credit earned by a Supplementary cardholder from this promo will be automatically credited to the principal cardholder’s account.

To qualify for the cashback promo, cardholder must have an active account and have no outstanding past due. Otherwise, Rewards Points and Cashback earned under this promo will be forfeited.

Full installment amount under the 0% installment shall be deducted from the cardholder’s available credit limit.

All installment purchases are subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit card and all related provisions of Metrobank credit card’s 0% installment program. All installment purchase/s are only valid if monthly dues are paid in full.

The use of the Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards.

Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction subsequently cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should a cardholder receive the cashback, but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from, but not limited to, erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the cashback shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.

Any amendment in the terms and conditions is subject to DTI approval.

The terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards, reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable in this promo.

Any dispute concerning the products or services, including pricing, shall be settled directly between the cardholder and Octagon, with the concurrence of the DTI. Metrobank shall be free from any liability in the event of such dispute.

In case of dispute in respect of Metrobank only and the cardholder’s availment of the cashback promo, the decision of Metrobank, with the concurrence of the DTI, shall be considered final. Metrobank agrees to hold Octagon free and harmless from any liability in the event of such dispute.

By joining or availing of this promo, the cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood and agreed to the promo mechanics and its terms & conditions.
