What are the terms and conditions of the promo?
A. Merchant Terms and Conditions
a. The offers under the Dine and Save with Visa program ("Dining Offers") are valid from 1 August 2023 to 31 August 2026 (both dates inclusive) ("Offer Period").
b. The Dining Offers are a benefit available at selected restaurants ("Participating Restaurants") in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam and India. For the full list of Participating Restaurants and their locations, please visit the respective links above.
c. All existing principal and supplementary cardholders ("Cardholder") of valid Visa consumer and commercial credit, debit or prepaid cards ("Eligible Card") are eligible for the Dining Offers.
d. Cardholders are eligible to receive up to 20% discount on their total bill at Participating Restaurants when they make pyaments for dining-in at the Participating Restuarants with an Eligible card.
e. There is no restriction of on the number of visits that can be made by a Cardholder to each Participating Restaurant during the Offer Period for a Dining Offer, provided that for each visit, the Cardholder will be able to enjoy the Dining Offer only once.
f. The Dining Offers cannot be exchanged for cash or other services, products or discounts.
g. The Dining Offers are non-transferrable and cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts or promotions happening at the same time. The Dining Offer may not be valid on blackout dates indicated by Participating Restaurants. Please check directly witht he Participating Restaurants for any blackout dates they may have.
h. The terms and conditions of each Participating Restaurant for the Dining Offers may vary.
i. The Participating Restaurants are solely responsible for the Dining Offers, including but not limited to the fulfillment thereof. Details of the Dining OFfers as shown above are based on information provided by the Participating Restaurants. Visa makes no express or implied warranty or representation in relation to any information on the Dining Offers, including but not limited to the accuracy or completeness thereof. Please contact the relevant Participating Restaurant directly to confirm availability and validity of Dining Offers, enquire on the terms and conditions or other details of the Dining Offers, or for any other enquiries.
j. For the avoidance of doubt, the Participating Restaurants are the sole providers of all goods and/or services under this offer. Accordingly, the Cardholder understands, acknowledges and agrees that a procurement by him/her of any goods and/or services under a Dining Offer shall constitute a contract solely between the relevant Participating Restaurant and him/her. Visa is not, and will not become, a aparty to such contract.
k. By utilizing or attempting to utilize any of the goods and services under a Dining Offer, the cardholder understands, acknowledges and agrees that:
l. Any claim, complaint or dispute of any nature arising out of or in relation to the procurement, or attempted procurement by the Cardholder of any goods and/or services under a Dining Offer (each a "Claim") shall be settled by the Cardholder directly with the Participating Restaurant, and the Cardholder shall not make any Claim against Visa.
m. Without prejudice to the foregoing, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Visa shall not be liable to any Cardholder or any other person for any loss, damage, expenses or claim (whether direct or indirect) in relation to any personal injury, death, false representation, damage or omission arising from or in connection with the usage or attempted usage of a Dining Offer or goods and/or services provided under a Dining Offer.
B. Other Terms and Conditions
a. All other fee pertaining to the transaction (e.g. service charge, taxes) will be shouldered by the cardholder. b. The promo is non-refundable, non-transferable, non-shareable, non-cumulative, cannot be exchanged for cash or other products and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts, promotions, fixed price items, unless otherwise provided.
c. In the purchase of goods and services which are subject of this promo, senior citizens or persons with disability (PWD) can either avail of the promo or the discount provided under the Expanded Senior Citizens Act 2010 or Magna Carta for Persons with Disability, whichever is higher. However, VAT exemption shall be extended and applied during the event proper. Copy of the Senior/PWD ID should be presented to avail of the VAT Exemption during the event proper. If the Senior / PWD card holder will not be present upon check-in the VAT will be collected accordingly.
d. The use of the Metrobank Cards in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank cards.
e. Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction subsequently cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should a cardholder receive the discount, but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from, but not limited to, erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the discount shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit or debit card account.
f. The terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank Cards , reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable in this promo.
g. Any dispute concerning the products or services, including pricing, related to the promo shall be settled directly between the cardholder, Visa, and the merchant. Metrobank shall be free from any liability in the event of such dispute.
h. In case of dispute in respect of Metrobank only and the cardholder’s availment of the promo, the decision of Metrobank, shall be considered final.
i. By joining or availing of this promo, the cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood and agreed to the promo mechanics and its terms & conditions.
