  2. What is the promo period and redemption period?

    Promo period is from May 20, 2026 to August 1, 2026. Redemption period is from June 11, 2026 to October 1, 2026.

  3. How do I register to the promo?

    The principal cardholder will receive an SMS or Viber message containing the registration process within the promo period. Once received, the principal cardholder must register and follow the steps below:

    • Visit https://metrobankcard.mymcc.gift

    • Log-in your mobile number found in Metrobank’s Mastercard database

    • In the Available Promos section, click “2026 Q2 Stretch and Save” and enter your mobile number to register in the promo

    • A successful SMS will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile number after successful registration.

    A registered cardholder will only start earning a cashback for his or her qualified transaction/s once registration is successful. Transaction/s made before the successful registration, so long as he/she successfully registers during the promo period, will be included in computing the total accumulated spend.

  4. What are the qualified transactions?

    Qualified transactions include all straight retail transactions listed in the table below:

  5. How do I redeem the cashback?

    • Visit https://metrobankcard.mymcc.gift

    • Log-in your mobile number found in Metrobank’s database

    • In the Joined Promos section, click check progress under “2026 Q2 Stretch and Save” tab and enter the registered mobile number.

    • Click the Claim button to get your cashback, which will be credited within 60 business days after the end of the redemption period.

    Only the principal cardholder can access the self-help tracker, which will be updated within 7 to 10 banking days after the transaction has been made.

  6. How many cashbacks can I get?

    A pre-selected qualified principal cardholder is entitled to maximum of one (1) cashback per customer for the duration of the promo period. Supplementary cardholder transaction/s will be included in the computation of the total accumulated spend.

  1. The Promotion is open to all Metrobank Peso Mastercard / Visa, Metrobank Vantage Mastercard / Visa, M Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, World Mastercard, PSBank Credit Mastercard, Toyota Mastercard, Toyota Platinum Mastercard, Metrobank ICON, ON Virtual Mastercard, Rewards Plus Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, Cashback Platinum Visa, Travel Platinum Visa and Travel Signature Visa. The Promotion is not applicable to Metrobank Dollar Mastercard, Corporate Mastercard, Dealer Financing, YAZZ Prepaid Visa, Metrobank Debit and Prepaid cards.

  2. Promo period is from May 20, 2026 to August 1, 2026. Redemption period is from June 11, 2026 to October 1, 2026.

  3. Qualified principal cardholder can earn a PHP 400 cashback for a minimum accumulated spend on Groceries, Restaurants, Airlines, Boutiques, and Gas Stations within the promo period using their Metrobank credit card.

  4. To qualify for the promo, a principal cardholder must have his or her mobile number updated in Metrobank’s database and is required to register in the promo.

    A registered cardholder will only start earning a cashback for his or her qualified transaction/s once registration is successful. Transaction/s made before the successful registration, so long as he/she successfully registers during the promo period, will be included in computing the total accumulated spend.

  5. If a cardholder changes or updates his or her mobile number after successful registration, a cardholder will not be automatically registered in the promo. It is the responsibility of the cardholder to inform Metrobank by calling our Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700 to update the mobile number and request registration using the new mobile number in view of the change in mobile number. The same applies for new cardholders who have activated their credit card for the first time within the promo period.

  6. To avail of the promo, a principal cardholder must register from May 20, 2026 to August 1, 2026 and must follow the registration process stated in number 4 promo mechanics. The principal cardholder must ensure that the mobile number used for registration is the one associated with his or her Metrobank credit card account. A successful SMS confirmation will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile number after successful registration. If no confirmatory SMS is received within the day, the registration is considered unsuccessful. Metrobank will only acknowledge a successful registration if the principal cardholder received the successful SMS which is sent to the mobile number found in the credit card system.

    Note: The metrobankcard.mymcc.gift site powered by Giftaway will only ask for your mobile number and verification code sent to your mobile number. Metrobank and Giftaway will never ask for your card number, expiry date, CVV, OTP via links in e-mail, SMS or phone calls. For security reasons, Metrobank did not provide Giftaway with customers’ mobile number. As such, the metrobankcard.mymcc.gift site will not validate the mobile number registered with your credit card account and will show successful registration message for any mobile number with a matching verification code. If a principal cardholder uses a mobile number not associated with the credit card account (e.g. associated with Metrobank Savings or Checking Account), registration will not proceed. It is important that a principal cardholder use the mobile number associated with the credit card account waits for the SMS confirmation of the successful registration. To update mobile number associated with your credit card, please call our Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700.

  7. Once registration is successful, the cardholder’s qualified transactions will appear on the One Giftaway Website. Transactions made before successful registration will still be counted toward the total accumulated spend, as long as the customer registers within the promo period and customer did not redeem and claim lower tier cashback.

  8. Supplementary cardholder/s is/are automatically registered once the principal cardholder has successfully registered for the promo. Transaction/s made by the supplementary cardholder/s will be included in computing the total accumulated spend.

  9. By completing cardholders’ registration, he or she agrees that his personal informational shall be subject to confidentiality, data privacy and other security terms of Metrobank’s service provider, Giftaway.

  10. A visual transaction tracker with the qualified transaction/s of the registered cardholders will be available starting May 28, 2026. Only the principal cardholder can access the tracker which will be updated within 7 to 10 banking days after the transaction has been posted in Metrobank system. Metrobank will no longer send token SMS with links in compliance with the BSP Memorandum No. M-2022-015.

  11. A registered and qualified customer can redeem the cashback by following the step by step below.

    b. Log-in your mobile number found in Metrobank’s database

    c. In the Joined Promos section, click check progress under “2026 Q2 Stretch and Save” tab and enter the registered mobile number.

    d. Click the Claim button to redeem your cashback which will be credited to your Metrobank credit card within 60 business days after the end of redemption period.

  12. The promo and cashback entitlement is based on a customer level. Multiple Metrobank credit cards under the same customer number will be considered as one unique cardholder. Qualified and transactions made by supplementary cardholder/s and/or other Metrobank Mastercard credit card/s (if any) which share the same customer number will be combined in computing the total accumulated spend.

  13. A principal cardholder is entitled to maximum of one (1) cashback per customer for the duration of the promo period. Supplementary cardholder transaction/s will be included in the computation of the total accumulated spend.

  14. Once the registered cardholder reached the first tier of the accumulated spend, the cardholder will receive an SMS on how to claim the cashback and has the option to claim it OR disregard the SMS and accumulate more for higher tier to receive higher cashback. If the cardholder redeems the incentive for a lower tier, a cardholder can NO LONGER qualify for a higher tier. A cardholder is only allowed to qualify for one (1) incentive and redeem once throughout the duration of the promo period

  15. The registered cardholder who reached the minimum accumulated spend will receive a qualified or confirmation SMS from Metrobank under MCC sender and he or she will need to redeem to claim the cashback which will be credited within 60 business days.

  16. The redemption period is from June 11 to October 1, 2026. All redemption requests made after the redemption period. All unredeemed cashback will be forfeited after the expiration date indicated in the SMS and self-help tracker.

  17. Metrobank will not accommodate request of cardholder to cancel, reverse or applied to other incentive or reward once a valid redemption is made. All redemption will be considered final. It’s the cardholder obligation to make sure that his or her preferred incentive is correct.

  19. “Non-Qualified Transactions” include all other transactions in categories not indicated in the table above, including merchant installment with interest, 0% installment, Shop Now Pay Later, PayBills, PayNow via MBO or MIA, Bills2Pay, Balance Transfer, Balance Conversion, Cash2Go, Cash Advance, mobile payment / mobile wallet transactions, online payment system and transactions with merchant category code of 6540 (such as but not limited to Lazada Top Up, PayMaya Add Money, Shopee Pay, GrabPay) found in Metrobank’s database are excluded from this promotion.

  20. The incentive cost equivalent is VALID in conjunction with any ongoing promos.

  21. Metrobank will not oblige to the cardholder’s request of extending the redemption and validity period of the token code (claim button) once the redemption period has passed. All questions and issues will only be accepted no later than October 1, 2026 after which, Metrobank will no longer entertain disputes and / or requests.

  22. A cardholder and transaction/s will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank credit card becomes past due, delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated before the release of the cash rebate. If the cardholder does not pay for his or her balances because of his or her concern/s Metrobank will not be liable on the accrued charges to his or her account.

  23. The use of Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards. In such a dispute, Giftaway shall have no liability.

  24. Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction subsequently cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Should a cardholder receive the cashback, but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements of the promo due to disputes arising from, but not limited to, erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the cashback shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.

  25. Any amendment in the terms and conditions is subject to DTI approval.

  26. The terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards, reminders and other provisions contained in the card carrier, statement of account, charge slips and other documents or instruments, which are made an integral part hereof by reference, shall likewise be resorted to in instances where they are applicable in this promo.

  27. In case of dispute in respect of Metrobank only and the cardholder’s availment of the promo, the decision of Metrobank, with the concurrence of the DTI, shall be considered final.

  28. By joining or availing of this promo, the cardholder confirms that he/she has read, understood and agreed to the promo mechanics and its terms & conditions.
