Metrobank named ‘Top Market Maker’ by DOF-BTr

MANILA, PHILIPPINES - The Department of Finance (DOF), through the Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) recently recognized Metropolitan Bank and Trust Co. (Metrobank) as the Top Market Maker among the Government Securities Eligible Dealers (GSED).

Metrobank was given the top mark among 10 other GSED banks. The honor is bestowed upon the GSED that best helped the national government meet its financing requirements and supported the initiatives of the BTr to enhance the access of Filipinos to investment opportunities.
