Metrobank joins Mastercard through its Priceless Planet Coalition initiative, turning everyday transactions into meaningful environmental action.
Metrobank’s campaign with Mastercard allows customers to make an impact through their spending. From June 30 to December 30, 2026, Metrobank Mastercard credit cardholders can convert their rewards points into environmental contributions, every 8,000 points earned can be redeemed to plant four trees via the Metrobank App and SMS.
The Priceless Planet Coalition is guided by global non-profit organizations Conservation International and World Resources Institute, employing science-based practices for the selection, implementation and long-term monitoring of its restoration efforts.
“This partnership lets everyday spending do something more meaningful. It’s our way of helping customers not just manage their finances, but also support causes that matter, making impact part of daily life,” said Gail Male, Head of Metrobank Credit Cards, Personal Loans and Digital Channels Group.
“We are happy to partner with Metrobank and enable their clients to make a positive impact on the environment. Together with Metrobank, we are turning everyday purchases into opportunities to support reforestation and create lasting impact,” said Jason Crasto, Mastercard Country Manager.
Priceless Planet Coalition by Mastercard connects consumers, financial institutions, and organizations in collective action toward social and environmental goals. By integrating purpose into everyday transactions, Metrobank continues to bring its promise of being a trusted partner to life, helping customers make decisions that not only support their financial well-being, but also contribute to a more sustainable future.
Cardholders can participate simply by using their Metrobank Mastercard credit cards for their daily purchases to accumulate and redeem their points through the Metrobank App.
