Metrobank wins Silver Stevie at the 20th Annual International Business Awards

Metrobank was awarded a Silver Stevie for its “In Good Hands, The Metrobank Story” video at the recently held 20th Annual International Business Awards (IBAs), one of the world’s premium business awards-giving program.

“In Good Hands, The Metrobank Story” is a short video narrating the rich heritage of the Bank that it has built for over 60 years. It showed the resilience, values, and culture of “malasakit” of Metrobankers, which differentiates Metrobank, the country’s second largest Bank.

The material preserves real-life stories showing the trust that customers have placed on the Bank; the institution’s partnerships with key stakeholders, and social responsibility, which was one of the Bank’s pillars-- to do good, to help other people, and to help the country.

Metrobank is the sole Philippine company awarded in the program’s Video for Financial Services Category, which recognizes excellence in videos produced for a business-related purpose.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by the International Business Awards. We’re proud to pay tribute to the decades of trust given by our clients, all built through hard work, resilience, and malasakit of Metrobankers. Over the last 60 years and in the years to come, we will continue to be a partner in nation-building and be true to our ‘You’re in good hands promise’,” said Digs Dimagiba, Chief Marketing Officer for Metrobank.

Known as “the International Stevies,” the IBAs recognizes the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide. This year, the competition has attracted more than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all types in more than 60 countries.
