Tzu Chi Foundation distributes ayuda to typhoon Odette victims in Metrobank branches

In support of Tzu Chi Foundation’s disaster relief mission, Metrobank opened its doors to help facilitate the foundation’s distribution of cash aid in areas most affected by typhoon Odette.

Tzu Chi Foundation, the world’s largest Buddhist humanitarian organization, partnered with Metrobank to offer cash assistance to thousands of residents and their families from hard-hit communities in Cebu and Southern Leyte.

Metrobankers volunteered to prepare and distribute Tzu Chi Foundation’s ayuda to small families who received at least PHP 10,000, and larger families, getting up to PHP 20,000.

Despite being affected by the typhoon themselves, Metrobankers helped organize the efficient distribution of ayuda, while ensuring the safety and health of those visiting the branches. Through this joint effort, these Metrobank branches accommodated and extended a helping hand to affected residents:
