6 April 2020 Advisory
Today, April 6, the Bank received confirmation that another colleague tested positive for COVID-19 and designated as PH2267 by the DOH. She has already been under quarantine since March 17, as she was caring for close family members who were then Persons-Under-Investigation (PUI). Fortunately, our colleague has no symptoms and her family also continues to recover well.
From the time that our colleague disclosed her possible exposure and went on quarantine, the Bank immediately conducted a thorough disinfection of work and common areas in the whole building. Our colleague is assigned to the Head Office at a support unit that interfaces only with other internal bank personnel. An extensive contact tracing procedure was initiated and identified close contacts were also mandated to do self-quarantine. To date all are well and not exhibiting symptoms. No client was exposed to any of those who are under monitoring.
We are closely in touch with our affected colleagues and will continue to provide the needed support to aid them and their families while they recover.
21 March 2020 Advisory
The bank received confirmation today, March 21, that a member of our back office support team at the Head Office has tested positive for COVID-19 and designated by the Department of Health (DOH) as PH146. Thankfully, our colleague is doing well, and is no longer exhibiting any symptoms as he continues to be under quarantine. The Bank is providing all the support needed to aid in his quick recovery.
We would like to assure the public that all the necessary actions and measures were taken to ensure the health and safety of all our employees, customers and the community. All quarantine, contact tracing, full disinfection, and monitoring protocols were immediately enforced.
No client and no front office personnel or even personnel from other units were exposed to any of the employees being monitored. As of today, all close contacts who were put on self-quarantine and even those on self-monitoring are well and not exhibiting symptoms.
The bank remains in close coordination with the DOH and leading health experts so that further actions can be rolled out as needed in support of the fight against COVID-19.
