<li>What type of smartphone can I use to open Metrobank eSavings account?

<li>For eSavings account opening, you can use any Android phone or iPhone that meets the following requirements:&nbsp;

<li>The process takes around 10 minutes. If there are no issues with your application, you will receive a semi-verified account immediately.</li>
<li>A semi-verified account has an incoming deposit limit and outstanding balance limit of PHP 50,000.</li>
<li>A fully verified account has no incoming deposit limit and outstanding balance limit</li>

<li>I don’t want to use my own mobile number to open an account. Can I use my relative’s or friend’s number instead?

<li>No. For your account’s security, we strongly recommend using your own personal mobile number.</li>

<li>You will see an on-screen confirmation that your eSavings account has been created, and you will receive an email from Metrobank containing your complete account details.</li>

<li>I lost the original copy of my valid ID. Can I use a scanned copy instead?

<li>No. A scanned copy will not be accepted for online account opening.</li>

<li>Is it possible to open a Joint OR/AND eSavings account?

<li>No. Metrobank eSavings accounts are for individual accounts only.</li>

<li>Can I open multiple Metrobank eSavings accounts?

<li>No. You can only open one Metrobank eSavings account.</li>

<li>I have an existing Metrobank Savings/Checking/Payroll account. Can I still open a Metrobank eSavings account?

<li class="li1">What happens if I deposit more than PHP 50,000 to my semi-verified account?&nbsp;

<li class="li1">If you exceed the monthly deposit limit of your semi-verified account, the incoming/deposit transaction will automatically be rejected.&nbsp;</li>
