What are the mechanics

Visit the Metrobank Fair at Glorietta Activity Palm Drive on May 11 to 14, 2023 from 10AM to 8PM and use your Metrobank credit card to avail offers from the following participating merchants.

SELLING OF PARTICIPATING MERCHANTS

  1. The Promotion is open to all Metrobank Peso Mastercard / Visa, Metrobank Vantage Mastercard / Visa, M Mastercard, Titanium Mastercard, Platinum Mastercard, World Mastercard, ON Virtual Mastercard, PSBank Credit Mastercard, Toyota Mastercard, NCCC Mastercard, Rewards Plus Visa, Femme Visa, Femme Signature Visa, Cashback Platinum Visa, Travel Platinum Visa, Metrobank Dollar Mastercard, Corporate Mastercard, Dealer Financing, YAZZ Prepaid Visa, Metrobank Debit and Prepaid cards credit cardholders in good standing.

  2. The offsite selling period is from May 11 to 14, 2023 only. The online selling period is from May 15 to 19, 2023 only. May 11, 2023 is exclusive to Mastercard holders only.

  3. Qualified cardholder can use their Metrobank credit or debit card at the Metrobank Fair, Glorietta Activity Palm Drive to purchase their airline tickets, hotel accommodation, adventures/activities, shopping must-haves and food.

  4. The event is exclusive to Metrobank credit and debit cardholders only. Non-Metrobank credit and debit card users can still purchase but will need to pay cash.

  5. All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility to this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI.

  6. The use of Metrobank credit card in connection with this promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards.


CREDIT LIMIT INCREASE

  1. Shop More with Metrobank allows select, pre-qualified credit cardholders in good credit standing* to be granted an instant increase in credit limit (ICL) upon request during The Metrobank Fair.

  2. Requests for ICL under the Shop More with Metrobank program may be accommodated from May 5, 2023 to May 14, 2023 only.

  3. Pre-qualified credit cardholders in good credit standing* may visit the Customer service booth at The Metrobank Fair** held at Palm Drive Activity Center, Ayala Center, Makati or call the Metrobank Customer Service hotline at (02)88-700-700 (Metro Manila) or 1-800-1-888-5775 (Domestic Toll-Free) to request for an increase in credit limit (ICL).

  4. All requests for ICL shall be subject to Metrobank’s final approval. Metrobank shall have the absolute authority to decline, reject, or cancel any ICL request on whatever grounds and without need of notification. In such cases, the cardholder shall not hold Metrobank liable, in any event whatsoever, for any damage, loss, or liability that the cardholder might suffer directly or indirectly by reason of such decline, rejection, or cancellation.

  5. Metrobank reserves the right to decrease the credit limit (DCL) of a cardholder and revert it to his/her previous limit if the increased credit limit remains unused for 30 days post-increase. In the event of DCL, an SMS will be sent to notify the cardholder.

  6. In the case that a cardholder decides to cancel the ICL request or request a DCL after the ICL implementation, the cardholder may call the Metrobank 24-hour Customer Service hotline at (02)88-700-700 (Metro Manila) or 1-800- 1-888-5775 (Domestic Toll-Free).

  7. All requests for ICL under the Shop More with Metrobank program shall be subject to the Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of the Metrobank credit cards.

  8. Good credit standing refers to cardholders whose accounts are not delinquent, not under investigation due to suspected unauthorized or fraudulent activities, those whose Metrobank credit cards are not reported lost or stolen, or those who have not, otherwise, violated any of the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of Metrobank Credit Cards.

  9. For customers who will request for an increase in credit limit during the event, they will be required to present their credit card and a valid ID with photo. Below is a list of acceptable valid IDs:

    • Passport (including those issued by foreign governments)
    • Driver's License
    • Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) ID
    • GSIS e-card
    • Social Security System (SSS) card / Unified Multi-purpose ID (UMID)
    • Senior Citizen Card
    • Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) ID/e-card
    • Seaman's book
    • Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) / Immigrant Certificate of Registration (ICR)
    • Government Office and Government Owned and Controlled Corporation ID (e.g. BSP, SEC, Insurance Commission, etc.)
    • Persons with Disabilities (PWD) ID
    • Integrated bar of the Philippines (IBP) ID
    • Philippine Identification Card (PhilID), including the printed PhilSys ID (ePhilID)

BALANCE CONVERSION AT 0.48%

  1. Customers may avail of the 0.48% Balcon rate from May 11 to 25, 2023 only.

  2. Only customers who purchased during the One Metrobank event are allowed to avail of the 0.48% Balcon rate.

  3. Only purchases made during the event are allowed to be converted to 0.48% Balcon.

  4. Customers may avail of the special rate through the ff:

    a. Balcon web form: Customer must scan the QR code and correctly fill-out the Balcon web form during the event proper.

    b. Customer Service hotline: Customer must call (02)88-700-919.

  5. The transaction will initially be charged to the cardholder’s credit card as a straight transaction. The straight transaction will be converted to 0.48% installment transaction within fifteen (15) calendar days after the transaction date, subject to the following:

    • Statement of Account: If the transaction is converted before the cardholder’s cut-off date, the installment transaction will be reflected in the cardholder’s Statement of Account (SOA).

    • Statement of Account: If the transaction is converted after the cardholder’s cut-off date, the installment transaction will be reflected in the succeeding Statement of Account (SOA) and the cardholder’s outstanding balance will be deducted by the amount equivalent to the transaction.

    • Minimum Amount Due: If the transaction is converted after the cardholder’s statement of account (SOA) cut-off date, the minimum amount due computation will include the full purchase amount made during the One Metrobank Event, plus cardholder’s other retail purchases.

    If the cardholder decides to pay an amount less than the total amount due stated in the SOA, the full amount of the One Metrobank Event transaction will be part of the Finance Charge computation that will reflect in the customer’s succeeding cycle.

  6. Full installment amount purchased shall be deducted from the cardholder’s available limit at the time of purchase.

  7. All installment items and corresponding installment terms are subject to the terms and conditions governing the issuance and use of Metrobank credit cards and all related provisions of the Metrobank credit card Balance Conversion installment program.

  8. Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the program period. Should the cardholder receive the offer but was later on deemed unqualified for not meeting the requirements due to disputes arising from, but not limited to, erroneous, invalid, fraudulent or unauthorized transactions, the cost of the offer shall be charged by Metrobank to the cardholder’s credit card account.

  9. Any dispute concerning the products or services related to the Promo offer shall be settled directly between the cardholder and the merchant with the concurrence of the DTI.

  10. CHANCE TO WIN FREE TREATS

Scan the QR code in the concierge and answer the question per station (total of 5 stations) to get a FREE treats from Metrobank. Valid for first 200 customers per day, random selection of free treats per customer.

  1.   3. Qualified customer who will visit the Metrobank Fair can scan the QR code in the concierge and answer the questions per station. There will be 5 stations in the Metrobank Fair and customers will need to get at least 3 our 5 correct answer to get the free treats.

  4. How to Avail / Process Flow:

    a. In the Metrobank Fair, customers will need to visit the concierge and scan the QR code provided.

    b. The QR code will lead the customer to the Giftaway website at themetrobankfair.mymcc.gift

    c. From the website, the customer will need to enter his or her mobile number and the site will lead the customers to each station. Each station will have questions customer need to answer. Customers will need to get at least 3 out of 5 correct answer to get the free treats.

    d. Once customers who have 3 out of 5 correct answers, MCC / Giftaway will send an SMS with an eGift. The eGift will be presented to Coffee Bean or Shakey’s.

    • For Coffee Bean – Customer will need to claim the free coffee during the said event. The validity of the free coffee is from May 11 to 14, 2023 only. There will be a booth for Coffee Bean during the event.

    • For Shakey’s eGC – Customer can claim the eGC within 60 calendar days after the receipt of the code. Unclaimed eGC after 60 days will be forfeited.

  5. All questions regarding the cardholder’s eligibility to this promo shall be resolved by Metrobank, with the concurrence of DTI.

  4. How to Join the Raffle:

    a. In the Metrobank Fair, customers with at least PHP 15,000 minimum single-receipt spend will need to visit the concierge and scan the QR code provided.

    b.The QR code will lead the customer to the Giftaway website at themetrobankfair.mymcc.gift

    c. From the website, customer will need to click the Join The Raffle and enter the following information which are all stated in the charge slip:

    • Approval Code
    • Transaction Amount
    • Transaction Date
    • Last 4 Digit of Metrobank credit card
    • Merchant Name

    d. After entering the information above, customer will need to click “Submit”. A confirmation SMS will be sent to the cardholder if the transactions are submitted to the website.

  5. The electronic raffle draw will be on May 26, 2023 and will be virtually be held with the presence of DTI representative from DTI, Giftaway and Metrobank. Metrobank will be announced via Metrobank Card’s social media pages. Winners will be notified via e-mail or call-out by Metrobank.

  6. By completing the #4 mechanics, cardholder agrees that his or her personal information shall be subject to confidentiality, data privacy and other terms and conditions of Metrobank’s service provide, Giftaway.

  7. Winners may only win once.

  8. Winners of the raffle draw must present the following to claim the prize:

    • One (1) valid and unexpired Government ID; and
    • Qualified Metrobank credit card
  9. A representative may claim the price on behalf of the winner provided he / she presents the following:

    • One (1) valid and unexpired Government ID;
    • Winner’s valid and unexpired Government ID; and
    • Notarized and signed authorization letter.
  10. The 20% tax for prizes exceeding PHP 10,000 will be shouldered by Metrobank.

  11. Terms and Conditions for the Trip Package:

    a. After receiving the notification from Metrobank, the cardholder should provide his or her preferred date on when he or she wants to use the trip package within 60 calendar days. The validity of the trip package is from June 1 to November 30, 2023 only.

    b. Once confirmed with the dates, Metrobank travel agency partner will process the trip package and the customer will agree to provide his or her personal information to the said travel agency.

    c. Air fare and hotel accommodation will be depended on the approved trip package by Metrobank. Customer will not have option to change the location of the airfare and the hotel accommodation.

    d. All travel insurance, personal passport, and other ancillary costs, except those stated above, incurred by the winner/s and nominated companions are the responsibility of the winner and nominated companions.

    e. The dates of flights and accommodation shall be approved and determined by Metrobank. Prizes are transferrable but not converted to cash and cannot be replaced with other items/services. No rebooking, change of dates beyond the said package will be accommodated once ticketed. All flights and accommodation are non-change-able, non refundable, and non-transferable once ticketed.

  12. Terms and Conditions for Cashback What You Spend:

    a. After receiving the notification from Metrobank, the cash rebate will be credited to cardholder’s account with highest spend within 60 calendar days. The description will be: The Metrobank Fair Cashback.

    b. The maximum cash rebate Metrobank will be capped at PHP 50,000. If the spend of the winner is less than PHP 50,000, Metrobank will credit the actual amount of the spend of the cardholder. If the spend is greater than PHP 50,000, Metrobank will credit a maximum amount of PHP 50,000.

  13. “Qualified and Valid Transactions” includes all transactions within PHP 15,000 minimum single-receipt spend in all the participating merchants in the Metrobank Fair.

  14. “Non-Qualified Transactions” includes all transactions and merchants that are not in the participating merchants of the Metrobank Fair.

  15. By participating in this raffle, all participants and the winner grant Metrobank exclusive permission to use and disclose personal information and photographs and videos in connection with this promotion for marketing purposes and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use on TV, Radio, Website, or Metrobank social media pages.

  16. Employees of Metrobank including relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity are disqualified to join.

  17. It is the responsibility of the cardholder to key-in the correct information in the Giftaway website. Metrobank will not be liable if the information is not correct and accurate. Invalid and inaccurate transaction will be forfeited and cannot participate in the raffle.

  18. A cardholder will be disqualified from the promo if his or her Metrobank VISA credit card becomes delinquent, suspended, cancelled or terminated before the release of the prize. Any question or dispute related to cardholder’s availment of any promo shall not be a valid reason for non-payment of cardholder’s credit card bill or outstanding balance. Metrobank will not be liable for any accrued charges to cardholder’s account.

  19. Metrobank reserves the right to disqualify a previously approved transaction that was cancelled or charged back within the promo period. Big Travel Bonus

Get up to PHP 6,000 eGCs when you use your Metrobank credit card/s for all your travel-related and international transactions.

  • Registration: The principal cardholder will receive an SMS, Viber message or email blast containing the registration process at the start of the promo period. Once the SMS is received, a cardholder must register by:

    a. Visiting metrobankcard.mymcc.gift.
    b. Log-in your mobile number found in Metrobank’s database.
    c. In the Available Promos section, click “Big Travel Bonus” and enter mobile to register in the promo.
    d. A successful SMS will be sent to the cardholders’ mobile number after successful registration.

  • Qualified Transactions: Includes all local and international travel-related transactions under Airlines, Air Carriers, Lodging Hotels, Motels Resorts, Airports, Travel Agencies, and Cruise Lines with merchant category codes stated below and card present & ecommerce transactions made overseas or international.

  • Computation of Accumulated Spend: Multiple Metrobank Visa Credit Cards under the same customer number will be considered as one unique cardholder. Qualified and posted transaction transactions made by supplementary cardholder/s and/or other Metobank Visa Credit Card/s (if any) which share the same customer number will be combined in computing the total minimum accumulated spend. A cardholder will only qualify for one (1) incentive throughout the promo period regardless if the accumulated spend exceeds the spend tier.

  • Redemption of Token Code:

    a. Visit metrobankcard.mymc.gift
    b. Log-in your mobile number found in Metrobank’s database
    c. In the Joined Promos section, click check progress under “Big Travel Bonus” tab and enter the registered mobile number.
    d. Click Claim and choose Universal token code
    e. To get the token code, click "Use This" button to get the token code

    Only the principal cardholder can access the self-help tracker which will be updated within 7 to 10 banking days after the transaction has been posted in the Metrobank system.

  • Change in Mobile Number: If a cardholder changes and/or updates his or her mobile number after successful registration, it is the responsibility of the cardholder to inform Metrobank by calling our Metrobank Customer Service Hotline at (02) 88-700-700 that he or she changes and/or updates his or her mobile number and would like to register the new mobile number. The same applies for new cardholders that have activated their credit card for the first time within the promo period.

  • Other Details: Promo period is from March 23 to June 14, 2023. Redemption period is from March 23 to August 13, 2023.

  • Availability of the Token Code in the Website: Metrobank under MCC sender will send the SMS token code notification for the qualified transaction starting April 5, 2023 and will be updated within 7 to 10 banking days after the transaction has been posted in the Metrobank system.

  • Visual Tracker: Cardholders can track their rewards at metrobankcard.mymcc.gift by logging in with their Metrobank-registered mobile number. Rewards will be posted on the tracker within five (5) banking days from the date of the qualified transaction. Redemption period is from March 22, 2023 until July 15, 2023 only. Unredeemed rewards after the redemption period shall be forfeited.
